G17 what's the skinny

I've tried really hard to hate the Glock....stupid tupperware lego Kinder Surprise Shreddies prize firearms, but I ended up with a Gen 4 17. Its probably the best supported brand on the market nowadays. People buy, sell and trade them every day.

Hahahaha I love the description!

As for reasons for selling, many sell because they simply can't work the trigger. Its a case of poor or absent fundamentals. Most I've talked to who either sold their glocks are were looking to sell them were due to "bad trigger" excuses. The next most popular excuses are "boring" and "ugly".

So I am thinking of picking up a G17 as there are a ton on the EE right now, which also raises the question as to why there are so many on the EE. Are you guys bored with them or is there something else that had you looking. I like to try different pistols and sell one after trying it out too but there seems to be a lot out right now.

Any preference to the G3over the G4 other then the grip ?

cuze they're flawless and of an absolute accuracy ,then boring.

Glocks from 2010 to mid 2013 are supposed to be wonky. But I don't shoot enough to substantiate that. Otherwise like clobb said people leave glock for irrational reasons.

Ive had a gen 1 glock since new had the spring recall done on it other then that no problems I beat the crap and have carried it all over the US finish is wearing thin but gun still works probably 15-20 k rnds thru it

I have a gen 2 g17 as well same thing never any problems

Why did I pick this thread to read? Now I just spent a grand to join the Glock club.... oh my, I am so easily persuaded. Gen 4 17 will soon be joining it's stablemates, if the BC CFO is on the ball.

After sold off most of my handguns, I was quite surprised I never want to put my two G17s for sale, I was once hated Glock for many reasons but now I love them with the same reason...

Now how can I say it is ugly????

You will find that Glocks are simpler (so in my honest opinion) to maintain and modify with after markets parts; also shoot well too. Only one thing that I would change is the factory sights.

G17 Gen 4s are great.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Guns are tools, functionality first. Having said the the Beretta 92f looks way better.

Nice gun Trigun. You don't see these very often.

Been threw alot of pistols and keep going back to glock. Its simple, accurate, fast reset, low muzzle flip and sleek. I have learned the hard way that to keep a Glock working you need to keep it OEM, minus sights of course.
