G19 restricted holster - what do you use?

For the range or even for ISPC shoots..

What do you suggest? Mag holders? etc...


Will be using it for fun range and possibly ISPC.
 
I really like Comptac holsters. The minotaur Gladiator is a nice OWB that is MORE comfortable than the Alessi CQCS which it is a copy of. There single mag pouches go on/off belt easily and stay put.

Best of all you order and in 2-3 weeks it's in your mailbox!!
 
I have these. One is a Blackhawk Serpa. It holds the gun right where I want it but I hate having to push the button to get it out. Of course if someone else was trying to get it out I may appreciate it more. :)

The other is a Bladetech. Easier to draw but I don't like how it holds the gun. It's hard to grab. I have only recently taken my holster course and hope to do some fun shoots this summer.

I have a Serpa for a Glock (not the 19) and it's okay, but I only have it because I got a smoking deal on it - no package, missing the paddle, Glock 20 size, brand new, $20 iirc.

So okay, fine for cheap. But I have no specific love for the holster. I would probably look elsewhere if I was paying anything like retail pricing.

I am TOLD (no personal experience) that the Comp-Tacs are nice, as are the Ravens. I am sort of eyeballing a Raven myself, but I can't comment on them from personal experience. They are recommended to me by people with more experience than I have, that's all I can say about that.
 
I've got three Blade-techs, an IWB and two different belt holsters, and a couple of Safarilands I use for my 17 and 19.

Bladetech's UCH, SRB, and the Safariland 6377 are my three favourites.

When you order from comptac just let them know you have an extended barrel and to compensate for it. I got a Gladiator Hybrid holster for my P2000 from then and it fits perfectly.
 
The extra few mm of barrel don't affect what holsters the gun will fit in.

Order any holster for a 'normal' G19 and i'll fit the canadian version.

As above, comp-tac makes great gear, as well as Raven Concealment. I have a couple of each for Glocks and they're all good.
