just brainstorming here:

I'm looking to pick up a G19C from the states. I believe these were announced last year for the american market. I personally have seen one or 2 float up here with lone wolf aftermarket barrels. What are your thoughts on this configuration? I'm personally concerned about the mismatch vertical ports on the slide and horizontal ports on the lone wolf barrels.

Yeah why? You still have to change out the barrel to a Canadian legal one so it defeats the purpose of having the compensated slide when the LW compensated barrel is 124mm (4.9")? My IGB barrel is only 106mm an my LW stainless is 107mm.

If that was the case I would have went that route a long time ago. LW compensated barrels are drilled in the top center of the barrel. Wouldn't work very well with the Glock compensated slide that has the cutouts near the side.

As previous members have stated, ports on your G19C will not line up with Canadian legal barrel.

Therefore, get regular G19 and purchase extended barrel with porting, if that's your preference.

Cheers,

buy the g19c, install a standard non ported lonewolf barrell for import then have canadian company magnaport the lonewolf barrelto match slide cutouts/factory barrel,,,,, easy peasey.

With all due respect, what you are suggesting is far from easy or simple.

At this time, I am not aware that any Canadian companies do magna porting handgun barrels.

Only way to get this done would be to have gun dealer in USA send Glock 19C, and to have Canadian legal barrel magna ported in USA, and installed before being exported to OP here in Canada.

However, I don't see this as being cost effective or favourable in any way over what I suggested in my previous post.
