I picked up my new Advantage Arms 22LR Conversion kit for my G20 earlier this week.
What a nice unit, and it is extremely light.
After a little cleaning and installing it onto the gun I was off to the range yesterday.
I had a fair amount of failures to feed properly with stove pipes and sometimes in the case of Rem Thunderbolts the occasional round seemed to not have as much recoil resulting in an ejected case but not enough slide movement to pick up the next round.
The most accurate 22lr ammo was the Rem Thunderbolts that gave me 1.5" groups @ 10 yards and the worst where Stingers that gave 4.5" groups at the same distance. The Stingers where the most reliable ammo for function. They feed, ejected, and fired every time I squeezed the trigger.
I fired 470 22lr during my range session with cleaning the unit after every 50 rounds.
This is one fun accurate unit and I have to say that I can't believe I waited so long to get one.
