Almost done with my G34 build and am looking at a G20 10mm build.

Question: How does the G20 vs G20SF vs G20C grip profile compare with my G34?

Unfortunately the Glock site doesn't tell me the grip width, just the slide width, with no dimensions at all for the G20C.

Hoping some friendly owners could chime in :D

Cheers  I have lots of time, just starting to line things up ;)

The 20 is a good pistol but it's a real monster. And I have huge hands. The 20sf is nice, a little bigger than a 17/22/34 but not too much.

Have average hands, but a big nose and large feet :D Well....not really :(

if you ever handled a G21 it's the same size is the 20.

I have, so that equates.

Cheers guys, appreciated.

You can't stop here. This is bat country.

I just had too........

I've got the 20sf, my father has the 20. Even though I have smaller hands, I shoo much better with the 20 than my own.

This is a really interesting post.

It highlights something that very few people understand: just because a guns "feels better" doesn't mean you will shoot it better.

Some people do find the G20 shoots better for them, even though the the 20SF is more comfortable to hold.

This is exactly why I NEVER advise anyone to "go handle them yourself and see which one is best for you".

How a gun feels means NOTHING in terms of shooting it well. So if you want to hold something that feels good and you want to do it in public, around a bunch of other men, get a gun that "feels good". If you want to do it in private, just hold your ####; it will feel better and you don't need a license.

But if you want a gun that shoots well, forget "feel". That means nothing. The only way to tell how a gun runs is by shooting it, for thousands of rounds. And by the time you get thousands of rounds through it, it will feel fine, no matter how strange it felt when you bought it.

Thank you fuzzy for illustrating this point which is so hard to drive home for people, who typically equate a gun that "feels good" to a gun that "will shoot right for them", even though these two things have absolutely nothing in common.

Amen.

I thought my G20c would be the same size as my G22. Nope! More like the same size as a G21. I like the 10mm, it's not as acurate as my Colt Delta Elite in 10mm, but pretty darn close. To bad they don't have the RONI or H.E.R.A. carbine system to fit the 10mm, that would be awesome.
