Dear Milsurp Friends,
I have an acquaintance with a 1942 dot marked G33/40, matching with exception of a different four digit bolt head. Bore was a little dirty, think it would clean up well, no pitting that I could see. I have only seen one of these before on CGN and never one in real life.
Second one is a full 71/84 made Danzig 1887, all matching, shiny bore, stock markings and regimental mark on the top of buttplate.
German stuff isn't my specialty beyond recognition. Question is, what is the range that these would go for? Would like to give my friend a ballpark and I am not up on the value of these, although I have the impression the G33/40 is a little more rare and desirable.
Any help/comments/opinions would be welcome.
Thanks
