G36 10/22 stock at Shot Show

The mag in the video looks exactly like the mag that was at shot (see pics on first page of thread), so what`s is all the hold up about....

They Only had prototypes for shot show as I gathered from the vid I posted because he said that the one he had there was a prototype and they were waiting on tooling to be done on the final products themselves. I believe that was the holdup. For all I know their tooling was to be done on the east shores of Japan, and maybe production there was slowed over the last few weeks for some reason. ;)

The mag looks nice I just hope getting a few extras wont be hard, if it proves to be a pain I guess a person can just stuff butler creek mags in it and leave the shell at home...

Only a few more weeks till the next shipping delay is announced!!! I'm so excited!!!

I was really excited about this about a month ago, now i am 50/50 if i will even care when it finally arrives.

I hear that man!
Nothing worse than a company creating a buzz about a product, and then that same company seemingly doing everything possible to kill that same buzz!

Wondering if Promag is aware of the fact that these delays/lack of answers is potentially going to put a dent in the profit to be made from this kit?

Short attention span, huh? I figured we would be lucky to see these by late spring/early summer and even that is looking optimistic at this point. But I haven't changed my mind on ordering one. How can you desperately need one last month, then not care if it ever shows up only a month later?

Seeing as how they are the ones that have invested their own money into the project and are looking to make money off of it, I am sure they are far more upset than any of us. No business intends to drag things out like this, it is simply one of the frustrations involved in bringing a new product to market.

If its not in stock i usually don't buy it. And yes i am one of those had to have it yesterday guys ;) Other things pop up and money gets spent else where. But i will sell my spot on the pre-order list for a small profit;)

That won't happen...
On the other hand you might just find it a bit later on the EE, because someone WILL have buyer's remorse.

If someone has buyers remorse over $250 they should be selling a lot more then the stock lol

I was excited when I first saw it. But now I'm not, ill be excited once its released again. Just know its coming and put it out of your mind

Well my bi-weekly search for elusive info on this kit turned up this...

We were going to launch without the magazine due to a problem with the tooling, but since we are only two weeks away from magazing production we decided to wait for release until then.
ArchangelDevelopment 2 weeks ago

At least they were intelligent enough to hold the launch until EVERYTHING was ready.

They really need a blog or news section on their homepage... instead I find everything in their youtube comments.

Totally agree!
I would argue (as myself and others have said before) they are most likely going to lose business over this.
If they where better prepared, or where at least keeping potential buyers in the loop about where things are at they could potentially be selling A LOT more of these!

Anyone that thinks they are going to lose any business over the delays is very short sighted. This is a niche in the market that has been aching for over a decade at least. Let me put it in percpective here. Look at the delays with the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, etc, no shortage of sales in a high demand market. A G36 stock for a non-restricted gun that can not be reclassified since it is just a stock kit. Hmmmmmm Just a win win situation for Promag.

Just wait till it shows up at the door... Then we will have all the installation problems to deal with like the beta krinkers, archangel, nordic etc etc...

Folks, this is the price you pay plus interest to have the latest toys on the market... And if you don't want to sit in the pre order que just watch the EE after they start shipping as I'm sure some will list an extra stock or two for +20% of retail.

hmmm...
you raise a really good point and in all honesty i had not really thought of it that way.

Guess we will just have to wait and see.
