G36 10/22 stock at Shot Show

It's not that I want one of these but it's that I MUST have one!!! I wonder if it would be non-restricted if you install the 10/22 Compact version??? Hmmm...

The Butler Creek stock I have is too short with the Compact. It would measure 25" O/A when folded which I believe is 1" short of non-restricted.

Comments/Answers from Mike Ballard, Director of Research & Development Archangel Manufacturing found on the net.

"The Archangel Marauder is a fully functional folder. It will allow full function while folded. It will accept all standard 10/22 aftermarket magazines, and the factory 10 round rotory, however, the factory rotory magazines are a little slow to change out in my opinion. The drum magazines will not work with the kit unless extensive modification is done to the mag well."

"The weapon you checked out at the show had a youth model length barrel with the flash hider (included) installed. The standard length barrel will also fit the faux suppressor that is included with the kit. The kit includes an extended magazine release, and a improved bolt stop."

"The Marauder has QD inserts for a single point sling, and we have a front QD insert available for the front rail. The hand stop has HK style sling mounts. An HK style sling may be attached to the buttstock via paracord or a hole can be drilled in a particular location outlined in the instructions."

If any of you are wondering if the mag shells will fit on an SR22, they won't, this was the response from the Promag booth employees, and now clarified with the response that there is an extended mag release in the kit, which makes sense, since the mag shell sits too far back on the mag for it to work in an SR22. Note, the Promag mag (without shell) will fit an SR22 just fine.

I was wondering if it would fit the compact model as well and when folded if it would be 26 inches. Then I would get rid of the Tapco dress for her.:)

Actually, I agree with you 100% and I try to do the same - and i'm new here and in hindsight not sure I can post that link? I'm also wondering for all those interested in that stock if it will even be available March 1st in Canada?? I did it more for information purposes......

Hey Guys I just found this on ebay - they ship to Canada and you can pre-order for March 1st...

Great find dvn00 but I wonder how these will make it over the border, since the stock is a firearms accessory and it is more than $100... it might be a gamble to try and get this from ebay. They will probably declare the item as an airsoft accessory to get it through (that has worked many times in the past).

not to mention that with the price and shipping, its $212 PLUS duty.
it will retail in canada for $220 plus tax, you will not be saving much

thanx Buda, I dont know? Apparently they ship to Canada. And I thought the xporting issues were more related to optics??

BTW - i ordered the autobolt release for my SR tonight from rimfiresports - i cant stop accessorizing!!!

someone in here mentioned they ordered one from MoreGuns, so you and Buda are both right - probably more advantageous to get it when it comes to Canada - I was just putting it out there for anyone that may be interested, I never presented it as a 'good deal' or better by over Canadian retailers.....I was just saying.....

I finally got my info pricing on the Marauder kit and its good. I am now able to take backorders at this pricing.

I will have that pricing on my website hopefully later today. tomorrow at the latest. I am not supposed to discuss pricing in an open forum so please don't ask.

There is no other info about what comes with the kit or accessories or mag costs. I am sure it will start to trickle in but I thought you guys would want to know that the wheels are turning and we will have some kits in a month or so.

Look forward to your orders.

Thanks,

Jerry
