High HOB is a bit more mind twisting for close up precision shots, and over barricades. Kinda like X95 and TAVOR.

Most big army shooters probably couldn't care less, but I would think that for some people it is more of a deal. On the other hand, a lot of Europeans still wear full face shields so this matter was not on their radar or at least something they didn't mind trading off for many year.s

Agreed. I must be a "big army shooter" then, because I have no problem remembering the extra 1.5" of holdover required for close-range precision shots. As for barricades, anyone who mistakenly shoots a barricade (or into the wall below a firing port) clearly lacks the necessary muzzle awareness to be safely "running and gunning" with any firearm....
