Not perfect allegories, but it is what it is. Although I do agree that shady dealers skimming the market are not to be respected.

Actually no an AK cannot do that.....and neither can a Swiss Arms platform. They will go a long time, without lube too (not like the AR15 FOW, which will go extremely long....AS long as you keep adding lube) but not nearly that long.
HK has also tested all competitors platforms....including their own HK 416....and nothing can match the performance of the G36 for reliability.

Most shooters cannot actually wrap their head around how many rounds 24000 are, give it some thought. No cleaning, no lubing (that's the big one) and no parts breakage or replacement.
We haven't even began to talk about the barrel technology and why premium hammer forged barrels from HK, Swiss Arms ect. are still accurate & serviceable after 24000 rounds.

I see some impressive meltdown on AK still shooting after 500 rounds. But the G36 can do impressive perfomance too.
