How did it gain weight adding a lighter stock/trigger group

can I cerakote it at home? And I have no clue how it gained weight, but it feels like a brick when I carry it around

Gosh after I added glass to mine I was at 13lbs! The next step would be to have the barrel tuned down. and chase down a short stock to overcome that LOP.

With the stock block conversion, you want to find a G36c stock. It's 2" shorter.

The lop is only an issue for those with short arms I have found, but for the vast majority of people who shot mine it was a non issue

It weighs in at 10.6 lbs now

Also, I just spray painted the NEA mag adapter, it worked really well. I used sandpaper on it first then taped the inside pieces and the 2 holes up then painted away

Mixed shades is (or going to be) the new black, just look at those FN Scars.
It is possible in a few short years people will deliberately mix up shades for their "black" guns as a fad.

I think the green mag is enough mixing for me!
