G36C hanguard on Marauder?

Hey guys....

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Marauder is basically compatible with the G36 Airsoft stuff? I seen this awesome Aluminum hand guard I'd love to put on my marauder, but am wondering if it would fit? just looking at the pic's it looks very likely, as the front "pin slot " that holds the handguard on is there, its maybe just a question of a few mods....

I think this thing would look awesome on my marauder....

has anyone out there used any of the airsoft G36 parts on their nomad's/marauders? and if so, how was the fit?

What the heck.... I'm gonna order this thing, I found one available from overseas for approx 40.00 CDN. That sure beats the 120.00+ at a Canadian airsoft online store! I'm thinking i should be able to get it to fit, wit ha little luck and a BFH... ;-)

It may be a while till i get it, but i'll post pics once its done. Next week im installing a 12.5 " barrel with custom flash suppressor. Its at a buddies machine shop right now, he's making me a 1/2x28 to 14mm CCW thread adapter for that project. ;-)

when im done, this should be one mean marauder. i'm really thinking about installing a quick release night vision monocular/red laser for night varmint control.(ie: skunk killer).... we'll see.

Update.

I DID order this handguard...... they say it should be here in 2+ weeks. By then all the other stuff I've ordered for my Marauder should be here, then I'll start my re-build.

Now, with this, im considering changing the stock on the Marauder as well, I don't mind the feel of the "stock" stock, but i'm not a huge fan of how it looks.... I found two alternatives. An adapter that allows any M4 type stock to be attached, and still fold, or an adjustable g-36 stock. If i could, i'd like to possibly find an SL-8 type stock.... We'll see what i come up with. Either way, when i'm done, i want to have the ultimate Marauder.

The last major add-on will be night vision. Either a monocular thats able to fit on the rail via a quick detach system, using a red laser for aiming, or one that goes behind the scope thats mounted,or an actual NV Scope.... ;-) I'm leaning toward the quick detach monocular, as it wont need zero'ing every time i take it off. And i think it would be more cost effective.

Marauder with an IDZ stock and 20`dlask bull barrel, the stock was heavier then the originally so it counter balances the heavy barrel well, but Im still looking for a lightweight barrel (possibly KIDD). It matches it very well I am fairly surprised, just had to squeeze the stock hinges on and grab a 15/64 drill bit and widen the pin holes on the stock and screw it on. Its damn tight but one downside is the stock post that it rests in while folded is a little low for this stock so it doesn't snap in nicely while folded. the hind doesn't match too well either. but its fully adjustable with a 3 level adjustable cheek weld.
