G40 Glock

Buy it. If you like glocks and the 10mm, or you are lucky enough to live in an area where you can hunt with a handgun or wilderness carry, looks like a winner to me. Not too many other guns in that niche. My only reservation would be cost. Although we haven't seen them in Canada yet, i suspect they will be a little pricey. if the MOS 34s and 35s are going for 1100-1200, i expect the 40 will go for 1300-1400.

Depends on what you plan on doing with it. A G34 would be a better choice. IMO

Yeah 10 mm is cool but expensive to shoot and other than cool factor, not really useful for anything here. That gun is designed for handgun hunting.

I just got a 35 with MOS. It's amazing. Put a trijicon RMR on and she's a real beaut.

Unless you are a handloader there is no point in shooting 10mm. Almost all factory 10mm loaded to approximately 40 short and weak specs. I handload for mine and it is awesome but the factory loads feel like you're shooting a 40s&w.
Factory ammo is expensive and a little in the hard to find side of things. It's out there but it's much less common and does cost more.
If you do handload you will cry every day you leave the range because you will always come home with less brass than rounds fired unless you are shooting in an enclosed area.
I run my gen 3.5 G21 with a Storm Lake 10mm conversion and a 22lb spring with stainless guide rod and it is much smoother than using the factory G21 spring

That being said, full power 10mm is awesome and a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't shoot mine as much as I should because I hate losing brass.

Like mine! Hard to get one up here in Canada so when one came up I grabbed it and no regrets.

Seems to fill my hand better than my G17 and therefore "shoots better".

As the saying goes, your experience may differ.
