thanks diopter, AND anyone have the g43 manual? i need detail on putting the trigger group in , either video or a pic from old manual, or such.

any help most welcomed.

cant even figure out how to set up / install the magazine catch an spring any one have close up or can talk me thru this ..............then ill get to trigger group 1 step at a time .

You'll need 12 fingers and 3 hands to do the job...

I completely stripped a G43 trigger mechanism for cleaning the night before I was supposed to go to a WW2 shoot. Spent wayyyy too many hours the next morning getting it back together. When I finally did, the shoot had already started, and with still over an hours drive to get to it, I decided to stay home.

Unless I have to, I don't want to ever take one of mine apart ever again...

I know now that's not much help, but.... just imagine how proud you'll feel when you finally get it back together!!! ;)

thank you for the info.

NOW, please desert-fox,
mention to me what tricks or method you used to get her back together?? any info or suggestions most welcomed.

I've had the trigger group in and out and apart many times. The trick is the order and sequence in which you put it back together in reference to the pins and parts going through the receiver.
I found it by trial and error. If you follow the pics on Claus Espeholt's site and think it through what you need to do and what comes next,
it just all comes together. There is only one way that it works. Good luck.

ok thanks coyote ugly .............so whats your order? as to the espeholt site theres an exploded view and 2 cut aways but there not really helping me.

I have been try an try again I got things mostly together then nothing would move it seems LOCKED , TOOK APART tried again same result not sure if I'm putting things in upside down or properly.

I am worried to break some little part, or badly bend some spring.

any info / sequence pictures of each step would help...............I wonder how folks replace the springs when buying the spring kits. ??

Which company made the spring kit?
Perhaps they have instructions that will help you.

thanks diopter, I have contacted the seller and even others who provide this spring kits , so far my only reply was , go have a look on youtube, as mentioned earlyier no video shows removal or assemble of the trigger group............most show basic field strip and the break down of the bolt mechanism.

ANY HELP OR INFO MORE WELCOMED , I continue my efforts !

You have to think in 3D and visualize the movement and orientation, and sequence of events of each part you put into the receiver.

Motivate yourself by saying if someone 70 years ago could do this, I can do it too. It works!

There's no easy road!

after a week of research an frigging got it in ........thanks to all who gave info or encouraged me to stick it out. by using slave pins and ways to hold springs in as i worked helps a great deal..........trial an error although frustrating led me to the correct way to fit things in place.

no on to fitting my scope and mount / repros

You write down instructions on how to install the trigger group before you forget( while it is still fresh in your memory) for the next person who will need the information.
