So All,
I have bought my self a a shooter G43. However, bubba payed it a visit much to my happiness. So far what I have identified is that I need a new stock and handgaurd, along with butt plate/screws. I have all of the metal parts other wise along with 3 mags.
1) new stock, good manufacture, suggestions?
2) butt plate, I'm open to repo as long as it is quality

I'm also looking to get a scope with brackets for this rifle, put it back to its war fighting trim

The stock will be a difficult task, but sun shines on a dogs ass every once in a while. Not all G/K43 had ZF4 and mount so technically it would be in war time trim with or with out the ZF4. Try GB for a stock you may get lucky, or join up on American forums they are more plenty full down south.
 
I got some good help from members here on gun nutz, also have a peek on ebay theres a seller or 2 of g43 stocks and also some parts , bits ect ect, stocks come from a gent from Poland plus the lezik gent mentioned.
I am currently waiting on my stock and a few various springs , as to buttplate member weimarjack had a repro one earlier this month listed on the group.

Pretty sure this is the same guy wth a similar name hocking mauser and g/k parts on eBay. lots of wartime k98k parts.

Although I don't totally disagree with him.

To get a nice original collector grade mag will cost
You between $300-400cad. Made in Denmark and other repros will be less of course. And any damage will bring the price down.

No deals to be found from Waffenmauserk98 - but he does have parts - but they are almost at full retail value and in USD.
 
^ It was a G, with the repro scope and mount. Seemed pieced together, but I'm a neophyte when it comes to these. I think it went for 3700 which is probably close to market value, just not my thing I guess.
