Gaining ground. Hunting will not stop wild pigs invasion in Canada.

The reality is only farm/land owners have access to them. You need to be buddies with one that has frequent sightings. Some provinces restrict wildlife hunting to residents (hey sask wtf). There are no clear rules about Crown Land / PLUZ.

Even if you want to waste your time scouting the crown lands, "it is unlawful to hunt any wildlife or discharge a firearm between one-half hour after sunset and one-half hour before sunrise" in most (all?) provinces. Therefore, you have barely a couple of inconvenient hours to stalk / prowl since these guys are nocturnal. Let's be honest, these pigs are not popular in crown lands either. They stick to the farms where there are barely any predators and a lot of food available.

"hUnTinG woN't sOLve THe ProBlem" really?? They made something hard to hunt impractical.

In Ontario they said in the beginning ; ,,,, shoot all you want then changed to ,,,,, "can not shoot."
Maybe some are still shooting them ?
