Gairlochian scope mount for Lee Enfield review

I made a bipod mount which fits the existing barrel band and doesnt require the furniture to be drillled, you basically use two qd studs and fit them together so the top one drops into the front barrel band and the lower one takes a Harris type bipod. I have pics somewhere. Its simple but you need to pack the bipood slightly as its a bit loose otherwise.
First drill out and fit some M5 stud so the two can be joined;
Drill with a 44mm bit and tap with M5 thread;
Join the two together;
In this picture the lower stud has been filed flatter to fit the barrel band, this will become the upper stud;
It will look a little like this;
It assembles this way;
It fits in place like this;
Fitted to the rifle;
Assembled;
All fitted with the normal swivel shown as well;
