I finally found a rifle that I could part cash with and of course its IWI. Also comes with Default Fixed Stock in Wood or Polymer. But doesn't seem to be any trace in Canada or mention of it so wonder if its importable at least

Prohibited by name as it's an AK "variant"...whatever the hell that means.

The closest thing you might ever see to that in Canada is the new IWI Ace but only if it's heavily modified from what it is now and if they market the thing as not being part of the Galil family, which they are not doing at present so I wouldn't hold my breath for one of those beauties either.

Long story short? We're hooped.
