Just got a new english setter and looking for some places to start my training, and eventually hunt this fall. Anyone know of some good spots, or have access? Only been in Alberta for a couple years and access is difficult unless you know where to go and/or have access.

there's lots of pheasant around the Brooks area and a number of release sites within easy driving distance of Calgary... all along the eastern slopes off the forestry trunk road is good grouse hunting and it's pretty much all crown land... tons of places around for waterfoul
