im going to give a coyote caller a try. who has what, do you like it? ect ect think probably a FoxPro or something like that. also any board member that carry them

Tagged for interest. I'm planning on doing a bit of coyote shooting myself as a new type of hunting for me through the doldrums of winter, lol. I'd also be interested in picking up a used one if local to keep costs down until I figure out if this is for me.

They make excellent callers, no doubt, but when their flagship product weighs over 7 lbs and costs nearly US$600, its just not going to be calling many coyotes across North America.

The weight could definitely be seen as a draw back but as for the price I don't mind paying for quality (within reason) Only need to buy one and the difference in sound quality is impressive. I may be wrong but I also think the fact most people don't use it could be an advantage. Everyone has the cookie cutter FoxPro and FoxPro sounds, running a WT call could be the difference needed in a high pressure area.
just my .02

If that was a real concern in an area I would just use mouth calls.

I think thats lighter and cheaper than a Prairie blaster from Foxpro?
