Looking for a reasonably priced game camera and was wondering what brands you guys recommended.

Take a look at the Canon SX30 or SX40 , the 40 being the new one replacing the 30 . Awesome zoom of about 28-800mm . SX30's are being cleared right now so some deals out there at around $380

Moultrie D55 is one that i use and it works great, over a thousand pics on one set of batterie. The IR version is on sale at Cabelas for $99.

I have some older bushnell cams that work not well but they take decent pics.

I would not get a cam that doesn't use AA's or C size batteries. I also run flash and IR cams and the animals don't seem bothered by the flash at all. If there are bears in your area get, or make a bear box for your cam.
