Have any of you Guys used a electric spinner type unit mounted on a pail or barrel that works in sub zero temps? I have a low cost unit now from Cabelas but it just does not seem to want to work once the frost hits. I just put together one of the PVC pipe units talked about on here in the last bit. I,m going to set it up today. But if I could find a broadcast type that would work in the cold I would prefer that. Last night I watched a 140" nine point come in and while standing under the feeder it kicked in. Boy he took off like a shot stopped about 50yds. away and was back at the feeder in a couple of mins.The feed being spread out seems to hold the Deer in sight for longer and reduces the amount of feed required.
