There is a place on Hespler St (HWY 24) in Cambridge that sells exotic meats. They had a sign out front advertising Bison and Kangaroo. I can't remember the name off hand. It's just south of the 401 on the left hand side in a plaza.

If you are in the Niagara area Lake Land Meats has a decent selection, venison to crocodile.
The Berkshire bacon and quail eggs are also great.

I'm fairly certain that is only legal as long as you don't get caught

On the back of my Métis card it does state that it is okay to TRADE meat (or fish or whatnot) for the reason of sustence. Now I don't have to do this so I don't bother with it.
