New England IDPA Regional Championship 2009 - Glock 22

gamingoddess | August 15, 2009

The NE Regionals took place at Harvard, MA, which included 16 stages and 200+ rounds. I shot relatively fast, but I decided to put in some comments for you guys to understand just how bad I really shot. For pretty much every stage that I did somewhat good in, I had mindless procedurals occur (totally my fault). Anyways, I absolutely loved the props. The match guys really went all out to make some creative stages.

3 stages were not filmed, including the 2 dark stages that I did not shoot due to time constraints. The next and last IDPA match I will be at this year is the CT state match...maybe by then I will learn how to follow directions!

8/20 NOTE: Checkout the rear sight in the end...didn't notice that until today hahaha.

Man that IDPA looks as gamey as IPSC!!

Well she talks about procedural penalties. I quit counting how many times she shot outside of cover and from the looks of it so did the SO's unfortunately. She certainly appears to have talent and we will no doubt hear about her in the future.

Take Care

Still has a long way to go IMO....not that I'm the greatest.

In any event, its good to see a decent female shooter around....the more the merrier.

Yeah , she only placed two spots behind Mike A (ipsik) at the Open Nationals and 6th Lady overall....f:P:2:

Wow, that must mean she's a great IDPA shooter

Lol..they are pretty much the same game played by different rules. Most top IDPA shooters that shoot IPSC do very well and most top IPSC shooters do very well at IDPA, so yeah, I'd have to agree with you.
