Gamo swarm , when will we see it here

There is currently a Gamo whisper silent cat and a Gamo bone collector bull whisper igt for sale in the airgun EE. Both with claims of 52% reduction in sound how are they different?

No idea?

Isn't "a device or contrivance designed or intended to muffle or stop the sound or report of a firearm" i.e. a suppressor, prohibited in Canada?

I've got a Gammo Big Cat just for cheap plinking fun. I watched some videos from down south where Guys are hunting small boars with these things, check it out on you tube. That was the first place I saw the whisper quiet a year or so and thought I should get one of them. Then found they weren't sold here.

While continuing to look into them watched another video where a guy measures the whisper quiet with a decibel meter and took a reading then cut off the so called "sound reduction technology" suppressor and there wasn't much of a reduction. Don't remember the numbers off hand but it is easily found on u tube.

Unfortunately it does not matter it the device actually reduces the sound or not, the law says intended to or designed to, not actually does.

Looks like Cabelas will stock them because they have the mags now. This gun at 350CAD$ when they go for 179$US??? Is quite the ripoff
