That is cool. Nice work. The wood is very nice on it, but that mag really completes the picture.
 
Looks awesome. If i was going to convert a 10-22 that is the way to go. I don`t suppose you took some pics during the build, they would be great to see.

I only took a couple of pics during the process. # 137 in 10-22 pics and 19+22 in Chicago conversion. The airsoft was a correct pattern for authenticity. Started out with the m1a1 type fore end but also wanted the 1927 style vertical grip. The stick mag is just a stock one mounted in sq tube. Didn't seem to be too interesting to see parts on the mill or lathe.
 
Wow Never been a 10/22 fan but if rugger had your imagination I might consider converting. EXCELLENT JOB. Now Lets find Capone.
