Just got my new M&P yesterday.
I've researched these a lot, and decided to take a chance.

WAY lighter than my CZSP01, but I will have to practise my draw, as I can get on target faster with the CZ.

But, there is a gap between the frame and slide that you can see through, not only see light, but a real space, 1/10th of an inch, or a bit more at the widest point.

Anyone else have one of these and notice this gap?

Hard to tell in your pic. If that is all daylight over your slide lock, yours is worse than mine. I noticed the roll pin for the take down lever is extended much further on yours too.

Didn't know Glocks had a gap too (not familiar with them, yet).

I was told I had the internal lock when I ordered, but that is not the case.

I tried to capture the light in this pic. There is a gap forward of the trigger in the slide/frame too, but the one here is the worst.

Can't wait to shoot it.

Also, I have small hands, but find the medium grip that came installed to be quite small. I doubt I'll install the large grip until I've shot it some though.

The scale type serrations on the rear of the slide were pretty comfortable.

I do not mind the look of them. You can also see daylight between the slide and frame, much like the glock. Notice the arrow and letter "L". This is where the key would be inserted had the pistol been equipped with the locking option. A built in trigger lock is a nice addition to any gun.
