Okay, I'm so excited about this, i just can't hide it!. Got a call from my brother-in-law at 8am (way to early to be polite, IMHO) to come drive an hour to a garage sale he was at. The owner had 2 .22s. He didnt have a PAL and got them in a pellet gun lot he bought. I drove down as soon as I heard the word Cooey... I do love them thar Canadian guns. When I got there he had a Cooey/Winchester 600. Meh, not the 60 I hoped it was, but it's nice. The other one was THE jem. A Winchester 67. Before they recessed the takedown bolt... Before they took the finger grooves out of the stock... This was a first year 67! THE ABSOLUTE best!? $75 for the Winchester, $30 for the Cooey! I need a range day!

You better buy your brother-in-law a beer or two for that heads up, I never seem to find those kinds of goodies at the garage sales I go to. Have managed to find the odd cleaning kit or two, that's about it. Great score!!!!

When I was a kid, I was over at my best friends house, when his mother came home after yard-sailing. She had bought a semi-auto cooey .22. She knew nothing about guns.....but figured the $10 she paid was a pretty good deal.

Yesterday I saw what would be a great buy, an RCBS Rockchucker press for $5, BUT it was so rusted the ram was seized and I could not move the handle. I have a Rockchucker at home and passed on this one. Doh, I should have asked him if he had any other stuff not red with rust.

No pictures as i can stand photobucket. I used it when i was airbrushing and got booted because of the topless women i painted at a Halloween party. I may try it again. Hold tight!
