I'm trying to confirm the finish on Chinese newly manufactured en bloc clips.
As far as I know and have seen, they are only a high polish blueing that is basically black in colour and there are no parkerized ones.

Can anyone confirm.

Check out the scribner fire arms auction in alberta this weekend. They have 2round, 5 round and 8 round enblocks listed with pics . They all appear to be parkerized or a very dull grey/blue.

I still have fiew orginal us made i bought 15 years ago and i don't even have garand. They are parkerized. Funny the wife always saing im buying stuff i dont' need.

It comes in handy! About 6 years ago I bought a bag of brass and dies for a 6.5 Japanese from the Calgary gun show. Well, if that didn't come in handy when I bought a Type 30 last summer. It's the 2nd or 3rd time I've owned reloading dies then gone and found a gun to fit the dies lol

Well, i have couple sets of dies in calibers that i dont have guns but i may have in future. Im buying when i see them in store not when i need them.

I am sitting on around 400rds of .303 Brit, just waiting for the right rifle to go with it (thinking a Martini Enfield or Ross). Never a bad time to buy ammo or components as long as the price is right.

Every en bloc I've seen is a gritty gray Parkerized finish. Polished steel has to be new- build.
