Went to shoot my Garand the other day and found that the back end of the firing pin has broken off.
So , when buying a new pin , are there better .. or worse .. anything to look out for ?
I'd appreciate a good lead , as to locate one too .

Marstar has Garand firing pins in stock according to their website ($35.00). Check for proper firing protrusion after installation (0.044" min - 0.059" max). I'm not aware of special manufactured firing pins for the M1 Garand that are "better" than the USGI ones.
