The hunting was slow for the first couple of days, but when the rain stopped I could get my son out to the bank to hang out with me as I called and watched for game.

I can show you how to adjust an enbloc to hunt with if you like. I did it with my Garand and it worked. Very easy to do. Just need a file, some pliers and a zip disc cutter. Took me about 20 mins.
Maybe it is only in Ontario where it illegal to hunt (shoot) from a moving vehicle (including powered boats)?
