Hey there, before you all say It I did read the garand sticky.

I'm wondering what you all use on your garand for grease/lube and how often you lubricate it.

I just ordered one!

Permatex synthetic grease from Canadian Tire. When the grease looks like it's been worn off, I reapply (maybe after every 2nd or 3rd outing).

Grease it's grease, any kind of grease will do the job. LOL

Not the case sir! I work in aviation and I use 4 or 5 different greases on some of our aircraft for different areas/applications. - maybe firearms are different but I'm accustomed to using the right product/tool for the right job.

Those who use white lithium do you use the spray cans or the tubes/tubs?

White lithium in a tube from "kleenflow"
Available at auto parts stores,I use it in all my semi-auto rifles.

lubriplate the original was made to lube Garand's From my searching todays 130 aa is the same. That said any grease in a pinch will work. most use a high pressure type grease.
What you want is a grease that sticks and doesn't fly off (usually into your face smearing your glasses etc)

Do you know where you get it?

With Garands where there is metal on metal, it gets grease. Don't forget the Op Rod Spring. CT high-pressure green grease works just fine.
