Garand lubrication

If I had a garand I would lubricate it with lubriplate

Personally, I just use decent quality HP automotive grease (cheap as borscht). No point using anything special as it should be wiped off and replenished frequently. It does get contaminated with use.

OK, we got it under control now! I bought a tube of Permatex Synthetic grease yesterday. I'll grease my dear old 6-digit Springfield and give her a work out.

I use Lucas Red & Tacky on my Garands. Seems to work well.
