Garands

MilArm in Edmonton was the last place I knew of.

PS Too bad you didn't have much chance to tan in your flash gear!

P&S Militaria does have a bunch listed.

Hmmm, better sell my shotgun quick!!! Daddy needs a garand!:ar15:

EDIT: Has anyone dealt with P&S? There site seems kinda sketchy...I'm sure there good guys but like "Phone available from 9:00am-Noon Only, no credit cards, etc" and there "order form" is just emailing them and telling them what you want?

Bought lots of stuff, Jean is great to deal with, no worries there.

Check the EE, there have been some really nice ones on there lately.
I highly recommend Garands, so much fun to shoot. Love mine!

Marstar's clips are so-so. I orderd about twenty, gave ten away and kept ten for myself. Of my ten, about half won't insert or require a lot of effort to be inserted. I've picked up about 24 IMI clips and they work much better - very smooth. Try to find yourself at least a few IMI or US clips.

Where did you get your from then?

I had the same problem with some AEC clips that came from Numrich. They all fit, but they're way tougher to seat than my trusty old DAQ clips that I've had since I bought the M1. What make did Marstar send you?

I found the same thing with the ones from Marstar. I got a bunch from the EE though. :)

I was able to pick-some up from a local Historical Arms (HACSBC) gun show - the old guy at the table usually sells them 12 for $10.

1851 - they are unmarked but they came in wrapped in oily plastic in a sealed box marked "Made in China." Once I cleaned the excess oil off them, they are fairly rough to the touch - it could be that they are new or it could be the finish used on them.
