Garret ammo in Canada?

The guy just charges rediculous amounts for a handloaded hardcast bullet. Roll your own for less that flimsy factory loads!

Thanks guys, he's new to 4570 and thought he'd just pick up some super killer ammo for packing. I've been loading for mine for a while and will talk him into loading up some fairly heavy handloads. Could someone please hook me up with our member who does the heavyweight/hard cast bullets. I've talked to him via PM before but seem to have brain lock right now.

I've spoken with many people who have tested Randys ammo either on paper and or big game, it is of the highest quality a person can handload. Try some if your ever down that way and you can see for yourself. As well, his bullets are custom desighned and cast by himself and are probabally a perfect design for the 1895 Marlin, taking into many factors. He takes into account more facotors for his overall ammo than most people give him credit for. He has put a lot of time and effort into his work and although I can get very good ammo with my own handloads, other and I agree we can't compare to Randy's. Top Notch.

If you have any questions or comments I'd email or phone him if I were you and try and learn something.

Cheers

Seabass

Good luck.

Not sure about the people or outfits mentioned but, a heavy hardcast LBT bullet, loaded to pressure levels that other cals. are loaded to in the Marlin, should be tops no matter who loads it.

timberhunter on huntingbc.ca runs OMA bullets on Vancouver Island. It's who I use for cast bullets.
