I know TT and chalkriver2 are tough mother####ers, but the latest weather report is calling for 20-30 cm of snow on Sunday in Pet. Not at all sure my VW golf can make it to or from the range with that volume of snow.

How quickly would the routes to and from Bravo range be cleared on the weekend?

I won’t be so tough any more without my Mochachino Latte Framboise in hand while shooting on the range...

Keep them snow tires on your vehicle,for another month !! :wave:

I sent in a request to Base Ops asking for snow removal for those days but the main part of base has priority so we will just have to wait and see I guess...

Thanks Morgan. I guess I'll wait out until early on Sat AM and see what the weather Gods have in store for us...
 
Seriously? holy crap that is awesome.
I will have to get some better winter shooting gloves though, my leather work gloves did not work that well at the March 24 PR clinic.
Any recommendations?
 
Wont be making this weekend! I was really hoping to sneak in at the end but its just not in my stars....But hey Barney I will be picking up a Gen 5 Glock17M soon :)

I couldn't go to this weekend's CQB thing anyway, but if you get that much snow and the plows don't plow to Bravo, can you beg, borrow or rent a deuce and a half from the motor pool and have everyone pile into it? LOL, kidding, but but just envisoning the sight of that.

I am gonna come with my family crossover. I am buying a tow hook and I hope some of you can rescue me when I get stuck in snow on Saturday. Should have bought a real off road truck when I had the chance.
 
If we put all the vehicles with high clearance and big tires up front should be able to break a nice trail.
 
Now I really feel bad not being able to make it. Would have been an awesome test for the "end of days" truck. Going to suck digging brass out of the snow. Best of luck!I'm sure it will still be fun.

Put the vehicle with the lowest clearance first and the biggest vehicle behind it pushing it and that will clear a nice trail:p. With all the forecasts for freezing rain and snow the last few days not materializing you folks should be fine. The weather forecast is like the news, all fake.

Barney I am working at the firehall tonight drop by and I will go with you for supper at Quesada Burrito tonight or if not I will see you at the messhall for breakfast tomorrow.
