With the right scope your BCL will do fine ...in fact you will have an advantage at the 200m with it on Sunday ( 2 shots per 8 sec exposure).
 
Anything from stopping me using a BCL 102? I'm not going there to win lol. I will still walk away knowing 10 times more than when I showed up.

I just found out that we will be using Delta range (500m) Sat-Sun as the military are using the other ones that weekend . Dinner reservation has been made for 1830hrs Sat at Dannys Restaurant which is located across the street from McDonalds. Big weekend coming up as I am off to Meaford in the morning !!:cool:

Trying hard to tune mags to this new ultimatum action.
Should of kept my barrel on my savage for now...

If ever i don’t get my 3x 10 round mags going,
How would someone fare with only 1x 5 round mag?
The only one that works at the moment.

one of the guys on our squad at the NSCC was shooting a bone stock Remington 700 with the factory internal 5 round mag. He would load 4 rounds in the mag, and hand feed the first 6 shots, then shoot the remainder in the the mag. If there were a problem or he had to do a quick follow up with no time to hand feed, he had the 4 in the internal mag for quick loading. He did not load all 5 into the mag to make it easier to hand feed, he would press the top round in the mag down when cycling the action / inserting the hand fed round.

Some people will hand feed all 10 rounds.
 
What’s really neat about the AICS magazines is that there are many models cranked out by many makers, what’s not to like?
Often someone in the shooting line or crew will or may or can lend you one. I even like the Magpul AICS 10 round version!

Thing is, i got many brand new mags, they all aren’t working.
I know i have to tune them, did it many times before with pistol, with these they just sit too low.

For your event i may ditch the action and bolt back my savage action, i know it works and will be problem solved.
 
Bryan2 and turbotapin you both are Good to GO! I’m home now and recovering from an energetic Meaford LRSC tournament. Most epic.
Still some room left in this weekend adventure up in Garrison Petawawa with the most awesome community of shooters here in Quebec and Ontario

Muzzle brake surprise is primarily on the the sides of the shooters. Bring a light lawn chair type thing for her though, happy wife.. Happy life...
 
Hey guys I know it says 200 rounds for the weekend. What would a person normally go through on a weekend like this? Just asking because I have to supply a 2nd person and do not have 400 pieces of 308 brass right now. I have about 300-350. Thanks...
