Gas Block Plug

Hi,
I remember back when straight pulls were first coming out that some members used their front sight post gas block and plugged it. Was it a machined rod or just a pinched off gas tube? If it was the rod, does anyone know where to get it? I tried looking through the build threads but haven't seen it.

Normally some cobble job. Just find a rod that will fit in and drill a new pin hole. I don't think there was "actual" gas block plugs made. D&T and locktite in a set screw.
