Keep the stock sight or just get yourself a flip up rail mounted front site.
Hello guys,
looking for an iron sight that I can place at the end of my barrel near the muzzle break.
Can I alter the front sight to use as a sight only without drilling out the barrel?
Thanks
I got a used Bushmaster with 16 inch barrel which I want to install a DMW free float handguard (12 1/4 inch long) that will cover a Troy low profile gas block.
I want to use iron sights for a match that I want to play in. The division I have chosen requires me to have irons.
I know they make a slip on sight for the barrels. Importing would take forever and want it from a local (Canada) dealer.
Willing to butcher up the original sight to accomplish what I need if it will work.
Want irons for a match at the end of the summer only - after will go optic for Tactical division in the states.
Use the whole Front Sight Assembly near the muzzle. Drill and tap for a couple of set screws. You will problably need a thin bushing depending on your barrel diameter in the chosen area. It will give you the benefit of a long sight radius.
