Gas Check Question

Hello fellow CGNer's,
I am about to order some gas checks but need some info first. I need them for a .308 Win & .303 Br. Will regular .30 GC's work with the .303 as well or do I need a different size for it? Thanks in advance for the help.

Gas checks

Most 30 cal gas checks measure 313-314 before they go on the bullet base. They work fine on 303 cast bullets. I cast and shoot 303 slugs AS cast from the mould. They are about .313 dia. and I run them thru the sizer/luber just to add the lube and gas check. The bullet is not sized cause my 313 sizer is just a bit over sized. Suits me fine and works great.

There are no gas checks avail. for the .303...just use the same ones as .308
