Does anyone know where I can get 30 cal gas checks? I live in saskatchewan and none of the local shops can get them. Wholesale Sports even has them on backorder
 
I order mine off eBay; just search for "gas check". I buy aluminum ones and have noticed no difference from Hornady copper checks. They are also cheaper than I have found them anywhere in Canada.

No as they aren't a projectile. Until they are seated onto cast bullets they are just metal caps and could be used for any number of things other than firearms. I've made 3 orders for gas checks from the US and each one was marked "aluminum caps" and came through without any fees.
