Gas Cylinder Wrench

They sell them at Brownells, but why would you spend $40-$50 US for something an adjustable wrench would work for. All you need is an adjustable with jaws that are long enough, just tape the gas lock nut so you don't mark it. Just ask Hungry, he says yer #### won't fall off if you don't have one.
I've competed for over 20 years and never used one. I bought one from Brownell's JUST for the purpose of showing you during my clinics, but I have NEVER ever had to use one. So; if you don't buy one, will yer #### fall off? 
Even if that wrench is sitting in my toolkit/toolchest, I still don't use it for cleaning my M14 or M1 Garand (when I could afford to shoot one). It just travels with me around the country for teaching purposes.
MAKE the darn thing ! Go over to your Dollarama Dollar Store and MAKE it out of those thick plastic cutting boards! How do you make one ? Trace the gas cylinder lock (it's a figure 8) on the plastic cutting board and wind up the jig saw/scroll saw.

I use a big adjustable goose neck wrench. Had it laying around from other projects, but the nylon cutting board method sounds cool.
