Gas Piston and Op Rod Alignment Question

Yep could be the remote possiblity that that gas piston whole wasn't machined properly but the 45ACPKING's idea is more likely. Further more not to burst your buble but your rifle does not shoot 1 moa. The rifle that you own is a 1.5 to 2.0 grouping that was posted. Anyone telling you that a semi-auto rifle you only take the 3 closest shot's and that is what your rifle's grouping is. Then they are straight up lying to you. Hence one day you are shooting and you shoot at a target then you shoot at that same target again and the poi has moved by 2 inches at 100 meters. Even though all the vairbles are the same then your rifle is not an moa rifle. Because when you shoot that same target at 400 meters that could mean from printing on paper to missing the paper all together. Also all M14's have one shot out of a 5 shot group will print a little further away from the rest of the group. Hence why when at boot camp the make you write in your book everything that happened that day with your rifle so if your out in the bush and the same varibles pop up you can flip to that page and see were your poi will be on that day.
