What does anybody think or know, or have experienced with gas piston AR-15s? thx
ps Are they really worth the money, or should one wait for them to become main stream if they do and than purchase one (like VHS to DVD to Blue Ray, lol)?
 
I realy don't think they will ever become "mainstream" but will remain a novelty item. IMO for heavy full auto use on teh field they do have their place (like the HK 416) but for standart range use the increase in price was not realy worth the price. But with the restrictions that are hitting us a piston bushmaster is about the same price as a saber defence (in the 2K range)so take your pick.

There is a Saber defence and a bushmaster ar at CRAFM ( with 3 colts are about the only ar that sre still available for sale at the moment)
