Gas Piston M305 Question

This was included in a lot of accessories, from what I understand the titanium coated gas cylinders only worthwhile when using match grade ammo, not surplus or hunting ammo, correct? Worthwhile installing? Any feedback on these? Thanks!

Fyi. US pistons are not the same diameter as Chinese. Smaller iirc. You can use those with anything. Usually the pistons for larger bullets will have slits the length of the piston.

It will probably only fit a USGI gas system, not Norinco. (Yommoma beat me to it!)
