Gatehouse has a lever gun...

Isn't there a little sling swivel stud attachment thingy you can attach to the magazine of lever guns like a barrel band? I seem to recall seeing something like that.

I don't usually pay this much attention to the cowboy gunz.

Cowboy Action Shooting is the fastest growing shooting sport in North America. It is also the most fun you can have with your clothes on.:)

Look for one that would fit a 410 shotgun barrel the one that fits my Puma M92 in 454 Casull fits a 16 gauge barrel.

i have one that fits a 30-30 sitting new in the package find out if it fits and pm me the adress as long as you pay the shipping it thats all i need

Gatehouse,

Well done with your levergun purchase, it will become one of you most popular guns I guartentee!! As you know I have a Marlin 1894 45colt, they are great guns and a hoot to shoot as you now know.. You just have to pick up a 45/70 big bore lever and you're journy to the darkside will be complete!!!:D

ps Check out "Skinner Sights", they may have somthing there you like instead of the factory sights

Cheers

Seabass

Jeepguy, vry generous, I will measure the tube and get back to you. A quick glance at the Russels catalogue shows half a dozen for lever guns, too...Maybe one of those will fit if yours doesn't.

Bartell- Yes, I am disappointed that the 45 does not have the "magnum" designation. This will make it weak.:p

Seabass, I like the rifle quite a bit, I might even hunt black bears with it, who knows. More likely I wont' use it much during hunting seasons, but carry it when I go out for walks and hikes and blast some rocks!

No plans for a 45-70 anytime soon though- The only ones I really like are the Springfield single shots, and I don't have the time to get into that game!

I missed on a Rossi mod 92 in .45 colt, been kicking my ass ever since, todd knows if you're getting a .44Rem Magnum (might as well get the old thurty thurty)nice rifle . Great light weight over the shoulder gun for scouting or anything(you can load it hot).

Bob:)

I love the idea of the slot blank, since I removed the rear sight on my win 94 a while back to install a Williams apature sight to old slot has been chewing up anything it touches.

BTW Nice rifle Gatehouse, congrats! :)
