Not if they will have to reload. :)

Obviously you need more SG experience my good man.

The need for a reload is the WHOLE issue there. Hence the idea of a 5 round max start.

If I have my 590 A1 loaded to 9 rounds someone with a 5 round gun does not have a chance

Once we BOTH have expended our 5 round start loadout........we BOTH have to do reloads to get more rounds in the gun. Hence the 9 round advantage is GREATLY reduced..

Fair is fair, especially for the first one. Can't have different classes for those with shotguns with mag fed 100 round drums and those of us with our normal 5 or 6 round shotguns. I would love to come down but it is quite a trip from "Miller-ville". Who knows though.

Well, not many hunters probably going to invest into quick strip caddies, so they will be at a big disadvantage regardless of the 5 rounds.

BTW, the Wentworth club has a semi-monthly shotgun matches. Minimum 5 round speedshoots: clays, bowling pins and steel with activator clay. It is fun.

So, it looks like we have 16 people, we would probably need at least 30 to make a go of it!
Yes, equipment can be lent out to get more people involved. That is to bad about the Texas Star, someone around here must have one we could borrow!

If I am not mistaken, Guelph club may have the star.

The plan is to lead them out to those who want to try out some of the racing equipment.

Sure hope 7.62mm lets me borrow his new reloading system.Shot with him in Michigan last weekened. They had 8 stages great little match.Got to see his new reloading system.Man it was fast never seen something so slick,i could not even tell when he did a reload it was so smooth. He smoked everybody with his reloads.Dissappointed thou the don't sell them around here.

I am 100% in for a clinic if you do one. I did my first action shotgun shoot yesterday, and I realized there is more to it then meets the eye.

If you can get a date set soon I can get a deposit down. My father would almost certainly be interested too. :)
