The more people that cancel, the faster it will go.......cancelations are annoying, of that there is no doubt.....it's not like this wasn't planned for a while, and people didn't have notice.......life happens though, and my Match Director List grows!

Just looking at the squad list again, it'll be nice to put some faces with some names and to see some friends again.

Hopefully you guys can all make it

Try this:

9586 Springfield Rd
Aylmer, ON

My GPS accepts Glencolin as the city, but not Alymer.

This should help

Finally home!

So that ran a tad longer than I had anticipated! But I think everyone walked away happy!

Thanks to the workers that spent the time today, it was much appreciated!

Also, thanks to the competitors that came out to shoot! Most of the shooters were new to any type of Action Shooting, so this was a good taste for them and they walked away with more knowledge in the use of a shotgun!

If anyone has pics or vids please feel free to post them, I really didn't have a chance to do any of that, and our Official Photog, is MIA!

Thanks,
7.62mm

Great job on this 7.62, anyone who was there could tell a lot of effort went into this match.

Usually, not just anyone is willing to step up and host a match, so good on you for doing so. The more people shooting guns, the better.

That was awesome, thanks to 7.62, Stormbringer, and all the RO's for an awesome match.

I will post up some vids in a bit.

Never done anything like that, been meaning to for a while, glad I did.

Not sure if we are going to do an AAR (after action report) thread on the stuff we learned, so I will wait before posting my thoughts.

Honestly, I've never heard of an after action report...

They have them on AR15.com all the time after a school/clinic/match, common in other hobbies too, like autox/hpda.

Well for me:

The north face trail running/hiking shoes are not appropriate footwear.
20$ for condor kneepads before the match was well spent.
Need to practice a ton of loading, going to grab some snap caps.
Really impressed with my Condor soft shell jacket, was not cold at all.
I need to start coming out more often, as a pistol caliber 20M indoor range is not the same thing at all.

oh ok.

I finally hard a chance to run my 'modified' 590 in a decent sized match....I sanded down the loading port, but there is still enough of an edge to slice my one finger in a few spots.

So back to work I go.

That's what I learned, and that I have to practice loading a shooting a shotgun. :p

Sorry for the delays guys....

It is my 23th anniversary tomorrow so I had to take off for a dinner engagment.

As such I did not get he scores entered.

I will get them completed in the morning.

I really would have liked to finsh shooting the match. Those stages on the 300m looked fun.
