I always thought this was the ugliest CZ rifle ever produced...lol
That 557 looks like it would be a comfortable bench gun...11lbs, 10 round mags, high comb, straight grip, and $1400.
I kind of dig the unconventional look, and the ergonomics look good.
That's a nice looking CZ.....the first one not so much!Mags would interchange with the Ranger.... could almost get away with only 2 rifles to cover everything lol
Fully agree, that butt stock is hideous! It looks like a TC dimension and CZ 557 fcked and had a baby.

Love my 557 Range
Got one the good, stock design is very ergonomic, very accurate, nice weight, solid ridgid action, integral picatinny rail.
The bad, plastic mag well, target trigger sucks, rattly big magazine?
Thought I would shoot this more, but rather shoot my 308 taikka contental, or Winchester Palma rifle due to trigger quality!
Had a talented young friend build me a single shot aluminum magazine that's fantastic!
Accurate with Seirra 155 or 168 SMK's, with 43-45grains of varget in Norma case with CCIBR2's.
I find it a good looking well balanced rifle that work well on the bench or long range shooting ,
Note: make sure you pick up medium hight rings, unless your a head is skeleton size��
