Newcomer to shooting, taking the PAL test this weekend, hope to get my paperwork in order in time to enjoy a little hunting this fall. Live just NW of Toronto, and I'm looking for a club to shoot .22LR target or perhaps some skeet/trap once the PAL arrives and the gun safe starts gettig populated. I'm a working stiff with a young family, so budget is going to play a leading role in my shooting decisions, and thats why the .22 is going to be my first purchase, cause it's cheap. Anyway, hope to get to know other shooters of various experience levels and pick up tips and tricks from the world of firearms in Canada. Take care all,
Ric

Welcome to the site.

For gun clubs, try the following link:

For firearms, a store that is mentioned here often, is Elwood Epps. I have not been to the store yet, but I have checked out their site (ellwoodepps.com) and they seem to have a good inventory of used firearms.

Welcome ! ... and, yup, .22's are inexpensive ... just make sure your first one isn't a "cheap" one. A good one will last a lifetime, so take your time & choose carefully. :D
